Dear Sam Jiang,

I appreciate your friendship more than words can express. I will always remember our numerous adventures: throwing lemons at cars, undercover clothing companies, epic mealtime at clay’s, black friday shopping, dennys at 2 in the morning, chasing ducks in the pond, taking caltrain to sf, climbing rooftops at night to eric’s disapproval, interesting outfits at hometown buffet, sketchy windy roads with nice views at night, and of course all those entrepreneurial ventures to the library (which have now been upgraded to luxurious car rides with thug music since you got your license).

Furthermore, I appreciate:

• that there is no currency that is too difficult for you
• your being the more intelligent and good looking half of our friendship
• all of our ping pong matches at clay’s
  
• our walks to your car during brunch, and our after school debriefs before yearbook
• all the stories we exchange about life
  
• the countless rides you’ve given me over the past few months
• that you taste good…I mean you have good taste, in music, clothes, etc
  
• our deep talks about various subjects…mostly females HAHA
• all the good times and struggles that we shared together
• …and that one time you saved my life.. I still owe you man.

I still remember sophomore year when we barely knew each other. and look at us now.. I can’t even imagine how these last two years would have been without you. I can’t believe we’re about to graduate already..how time flies. it seems like just yesterday we were working our butts off in cler and belshe, studying up for SATs, stressing about college apps and worrying about the future, and now we’re all about to go off to college. congrats on berkeley dood, I’ll come and visit all the time and we can party it up with eric yu…woo ok sounds good. but forreals, best of luck dude, I’ll be praying for you! and you’ll be in my heart bbz.

Its not every day you find someone who will be there for you through thick and thin. happy birthday and thanks for being there for me bro, I couldn’t have made it without you. <3
